The FGLM Academy is a free, self-paced program from pre-K through 12th grade. Pick your level to get to your courses.
Elementary learners go straight to the FGLM Academy learning site.
Go to PK-5 Learning SiteGrades 6-12 courses run through Imagine Learning. The login link will be added here once finalized; until then, enrollment and support go through your FGLM intake coordinator.
For grades 6-12, Imagine Learning provides the platform, the state-certified teachers, and the tutoring behind every course. FGLM manages enrollment, in-person support, and your day-to-day experience.
Any FGLM participant who has not completed high school -- regardless of age, prior educational history, grade level, or time out of school. There are no semester cutoffs and no academic prerequisites.
Enrollment happens as part of the regular FGLM intake process -- no separate application. You'll need a government-issued ID or equivalent, any available prior school records (not required if you don't have them), a signed Enrollment Agreement, and a quick learning-style check-in.
Self-paced and competency-based -- you move on when you've mastered the material, not on a fixed semester clock. You can enroll in the FGLM Academy and the Vocational Training Institute at the same time; the schedule is built so both can be pursued together.
Courses, teacher support, and tutoring are delivered entirely through Imagine Learning's platform and instructors. Your diploma is issued through Imagine Learning as the accrediting body -- a real high school diploma, not a GED.
The FGLM Academy operates as a home-based private school registered with the Illinois State Board of Education. All educational services through the FGLM Academy are provided free of charge to participants.
Access to the Imagine Learning student platform for grades 6-12 will be added to this page once it's ready. In the meantime, enrollment happens through your FGLM intake coordinator.
