The FGLM Career Institute's Medical Assistant Diploma program combines online coursework, hands-on labs, and real clinical hours -- free for students who qualify through WIOA or TANF.
Powered by Blackboard Ultra · 760-1,020 clock hours · 8-12 months · Hybrid (online + labs + clinical) · Harvey, IL
You learn online at your own pace, come in for hands-on lab sessions (evenings and weekends available), and complete 160 hours in a real healthcare setting.
After the core program, specialize in Phlebotomy (+120 hrs, CPT-eligible), EKG/Electrocardiography (+120 hrs, CET-eligible), or Medical Billing & Coding (+220 hrs, CPC/CBCS-eligible).
High school diploma or GED (or we'll help you get there first), age 18+ (some exceptions for 16-17), and a completed application and short interview. A criminal record will not stop you here.
You'll be eligible to sit for national certification exams -- RMA, CCMA, or NCMA -- and we'll help connect you with employers.
